Who We Are

We are a Church of England parish church, and are part of the CRoFTT Benefice, a group of five churches in the area including St. Leonard's Tortworth, St. James' Tytherington, St. George's Falfield, and St. Oswald's Rockhampton.

Please direct all enquiries regarding weddings, funerals and baptisms to the Benefice Office which can be contacted on 01454 260096 or office@croftt.org.uk.

Life Prayer

God of hope and transformation,
who in our Lord Jesus Christ offers the gift of life in all its fullness,
send your Holy Spirit and grant us
joy in our following and vision in our leadership.
May we be rich in imagination,
confident in faith,
and courageous in our engagement
with the people and places of this diocese.
As we share your life with the world,
keep us rooted and grounded in love
as we bear witness to your glory
and pray for your Kingdom to come.

New people are always welcome at our services, whether you are just popping in, a visitor, or giving church a try. We aren't a membership organisation, there are no qualifications for entry, anyone can share worship with us in whatever way they are comfortable with.

Our public worship services are presently suspended due to the Covid-19 crisis

However our church building remains open as usual, and all are welcome to come in for private prayer, a quiet space, or just to use the toilet and wash your hands whilst walking by or visiting the Churchyard.  All we ask is that visitors observe the current guidelines for social separation and hand washing and treat others who may be there with the same respect that you would wish for yourself.

You can read our weekly Benefice Newsletter here.

Dear Parishioner,

This is an uncertain time for us all as we face the Coronavirus situation.

As a church we are given guidance with regard to services, which of course we will continue to heed in order to keep all those who come to worship as safe as possible.

However, in our villages over these next weeks there may be people who have to “self-isolate “ for precautionary measures or because they have contracted the virus themselves. There may also be people who have family who are not able to travel to visit and care for them. It is hard to be on your own in these situations.

Revd Frances and I are very concerned that as a church family we support, to the best of our ability, those in need within the communities. It may just be a phone conversation that would help, so please do let us know if you – or someone you know –

is in need.

As we all try and keep safe, the family of the church will be praying for all within our village communities.
